With September just around the corner, we’re getting ready to bring the wider global MARESS-user community together for the now traditional three months of practical, measurable decarbonisation.

What makes the 2026 campaign particularly exciting is our enhanced approach to achieving a level and fair benchmarking process. Using machine learning, we will fairly monitor vessels operating under varying weather conditions, including wind, waves and current, then calculate a weather-adjusted performance level for each vessel.

That means a fairer comparison — and a clearer picture of where real efficiency gains can be made.

But the campaign is about more than numbers.
